DESIGN, BUILD, MAINTAIN, GROW: HR ANALYTICS IN YOUR WORKPLACE

There is a growing demand for the analytics skill set among people in business. Learn to be the HR business partner with analytic skills, rather than just a data analyst.

The Human Capital function today is quickly increasing in complexity to meet the demanding dynamics of business.  Unlike other disciplines, such as finance, supply chain, etc., HR deals with the behaviors of humans, which is much less predictable than other areas of focus!  So HR needs to know how to apply analytics techniques and effectively communicate the results if they are to achieve their business goals.

This session will design a comprehensive roadmap for creating a robust analytics program. Begin with the fundamentals to achieve basic descriptive reporting. Gain workforce insights through data visualizations and predictive analytics. Raise the level of analytics maturity and present a compelling story with your data.

Powerful technologies and cultural adaptations rapidly fuel the pace of business change. It is no longer acceptable to be a technology laggard. Come learn these new essentials to stay ahead of the curve on the competitive road to HR success.

This course is approved for 4 SHRM PDCs and 3.75 HRCI Business credits.

HR STRATEGY AT THE EDGE OF CHAOS - back by popular demand!

GSC-SHRM SUNDAY BUSINESS ED is trying something new this year! We have invited Dr. Bill Castellano to repeat his 2017 session. Other speakers have been highly evaluated and then welcomed back over these eleven years, but no one has ever been asked to repeat their session. Until now...

In this session, you will take a “deep dive” to consider the many challenging external trends and issues facing organizations and HR professionals.

(1) Deepen your understanding of how competitive pressures and various other external forces influence the evolution of an organization’s approach to managing human resources.

(2) Strengthen your ability to examine why certain companies outperform their competition and gain sustainable competitive advantage through the management of human capital.

(3) Identify and propose HR solutions to the ongoing challenges posed by those external and organizational pressures.

Develop your conceptual understanding of strategic human resource management and your own capabilities so that you can create human resource strategies and integrate them with the business challenges you will face in HR.

This course is approved for 4 SHRM PDCs and 4 HRCI Business Credits.
